VIDA International Music Festival 2016

One of the great things about Barcelona and the entire area, are the festivals! Every summer you can find countless music festivals all over Catalunya. Today we are going to talk about Vida Festival, one of the most recent festivals, but definetley worth it!

Vida, the international festival of Vilanova, closed its final poster. Nada Surf, Rodrigo Amarante, Basia Bulat, Guille Milkyway (Djset), Ultimate Painting, MODENA DJs and Vida DJs (Save Vinyl) are the latest additions to the programming of VIDA, which will hold its third edition from June 30 to July 3 .

The latter names are added to the already confirmed Wilco, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Manel, Villagers, Bizarre Love Triangle, !!!, Kula Shaker, Delorean, Belako, The Divine Comedy, Kiko Veneno, Za! or Child of Elche, among many others.

The big news as far as regards mobility and transport is the connection to Sitges -through lanzadera- buses, which binds to the special night trains, giving multiple options and schedules to attendees who stay there. Also, the frequency of buses that connect the festival with different points of Vilanova will increase considerably in order to absorb the increase in public and minimize delays.

Renfe will continue to work with the festival offering, as was done in the last year, an extraordinary train service back to Sitges and Barcelona the early hours of Saturday and Sunday at 1:45 and 3:35, and night Sunday to Monday, which will be held the closing ceremony of the festival, at 00:30.

In addition, as a novelty for this edition 2016 Renfe also offers a 30% discount on tickets AVE and Long Distance during the festival dates, which will allow to reduce the costs of travel to festival audiences from all over the state.
