Barcelona and Antoni Gaudí
Barcelona is THE city of Gaudi and you can see that in every corner. The center of the Eixample district, on the Passeig de Gràcia, features some of Antoni Gaudí’s most striking and best-known buildings. On the corner of Carrer Provença, stands the Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera, the Catalan for stone quarry, with its undulating forms reminiscent of the waves of the ocean. Further down the street is the Casa Batlló, a metaphor for the legend of Saint George and the dragon.
Nature and landscapes
Spain offers different types of landscape. Among them, it is worth to travel to Spain and visit the northern half of the peninsula, where you will find the Picos de Europa or the Pyrenees. In addition, go to natural landscapes formed by lakes, such as Lago de Sanabria and the Lakes of Covadonga. But also the Mediterranean coastline has some very impressive beaches and landscapes that are worth taking a look.
